The Official England Mini-Notebook

How to sing 'three lions on a shirt' while online during an away game.

UK-based HiGrade computers have launched an official England Football Association mini-notebook. Appropriately available in a home white strip, the HiGrade mini PC is sure to be a hit with England fans cheering the lads on their way to the World Cup in 2010.

The England football team (read 'soccer' if you're anatomically challenged), will be lining up against Slovakia on Saturday afternoon for a warm up game ahead of their World Cup qualifying match with the Ukraine the following Wednesday. While I'm not a particularly huge fan of international footy (prefering the thrills and spills of the Premier League) , I was more than a little intrigued to learn that there was now an official England mini-note PC available to footy fans eager to spend their hard earned cash on something mobile and lightweight with three lions painted on the front. Such is the mentality of England's followers and their avid support that I'm certain HiGrade have a winner here. They'll be shipping by the boat load.

The Latin sounding Notino µL100E could possible have been inspired by England's current coach, Fabio Capello, an elder-statesman of Italian football. A no-nonsense disciplinarian and a grand master tactician, I'm sure Mr Capello would appreciate the energy-efficient VIA C7-M 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of DDR2, 160GB hard drive, 10.2" screen, built-in Wi-fi and card reader. And at less than 1.5KG, it's light enough to carry with you on away games.
