Image editing on your mini-notebook

Do you love morphing images on your latest version of Adobe Photoshop and enjoy mobility at the same time? Let me share my experience here. Recently, I was in New Delhi covering India Telecom 2008 with my HP mininote. The content management system on which I was uploading stories directly from the event was a superb one.
However, keeping a track on all the seminars and catching up with the top telecom industry personalities for exclusive stories would have been difficult carrying a heavy notebook. My HP mininote powered with VIA processor ran quite efficiently to upload the stories. I realized how these mini-notebooks help reduce your burden.
My tiny machine is easy to carry and incredibly cheap to buy with other advantages as well. Uploading the image with the story was never a problem. The images I clicked with my digicam to insert to my stories had to be edited and re-sized with Photoshop as it was the only image editing software installed in my machine.
Image editing on mini-notebooks without the right software may result in serious breakdown of the system and hang your machine in critical situations. But that doesn’t mean that mini-notebooks are not suitable at all for resource-intensive software applications like image editing. You just need to have the right applications.
Installing such software can be a challenging process, since these tiny machines don't possess CD/DVD drives.
