Before I bought my Samsung NC20, I was using my old laptop, which my brother had gifted me a couple of years ago. Before handing over my old laptop to a friend, I deleted all my personal data in it. The graphical user interface (GUI) of Media RECOVER PRO is very easy to understand with no gimcracks. ‘Scanning files’, ‘Scanning CD/DVD’, and ‘Utilities’ are the three main options in the GUI.

‘Scanning files’ has two options, ‘Scan’ and ‘Advanced Scan’. Using the ‘Advanced Scan’, Media RECOVER PRO performs a search for RAW or formatted files. The ‘Scan’ option performs a quick scan for deleted files.

Using ‘Scanning CD/DVD’ option you can recover files from your CD and DVD. One of the assets of Media RECOVER PRO is that it supports USB drives, memory cards and is also compatible with most of the digital cameras that can be connected to the computer using the USB cord. ‘Tools’ has the option ‘Wipe’, which allows you to completely clean and restore digital camera media.
