MiFi is a portable wireless router that will deliver to EVDO or HSPA high speed data network access to multiple users in a small area. Much the same size as a credit card, the sleek looking MiFi can be shared not only between up to five users, but between devices such as laptops, cameras, gaming devices and multimedia players.

Perfect for carpooling and relieving boredom in the back seat during that long road trip with kids - think Nintendo DS or Sony PSP - the MiFi is expected to sell for about US$200, and even less if it’s picked up and subsidized by carriers.

With a battery that can provide over four hours of Internet access to devices such as a PC, iPod touch, Zune, Nintendo DS or Sony PSP, the roughly credit card sized MiFi could be a great investment for mobile device users looking to extend their bubble of connectivity.
