Invoicing was never so easy

This Sunday I met all my friends after a very long time. We watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and then decided to go for a long drive. One of my friends appeared to be very gloomy, and for a good reason! She had lost all her emails due to some server problem and she was supposed to send an invoice the next day. Here is how I saved the scene with Zoho Invoice in my netbook while we were still driving towards the outer ring road.

Zoho Invoice is a professional yet flexible online invoicing service. It is available free of cost while most of the other invoicing services are highly expensive. Apart from a free account, it also offers premium paid services. Zoho Invoice is good for an individual as well as a large organization.

Sign-up is very easy, you just have to enter a username, email Id and verify the confirmation mail sent to you. You can also directly login with your existing Google or Yahoo Ids. Once you login, Zoho will ask you to fill a short set up form with your details such as time zone, currency, company name, and address. you can add extra details in the settings page.  

In the free service, Zoho offers a lot of features with a max limit of 5 invoices or estimates per month. Zoho Invoice also offers basic to elite plans within the range of US $8 to US $35 with a higher number of invoices/estimates per month. In addition to all the services offered in the free account, paid services also offers unbranded email service. You can upgrade anytime to any of the paid plans depending on your monthly usage.

Zoho Invoice has a clean and user friendly interface, which also looks stunning due to the presence of soft colors. You can also choose any of the four soft pastel colors for your account. The home page has your account details along with a dashboard to view your open or overdue invoices.

Zoho Invoice offers an impressive set of features such as unlimited number of customers and branding of invoices and estimates in its free account. It also supports data import/export, multi currency, SSL encryption, firewall protection and data backup for your invoices.

There is a vast set of templates to choose from, along with a lot of customization options in each template. You can also send recurring invoices, payment reminders and track your invoices. Zoho Invoice also tracks customer payments, sends acknowledge receipts and accepts customer payment online for you. The help guide is exhaustive with good customer support. You can also switch to any of the other Zoho applications directly from the interface.

Now my friend can easily keep a track of her invoices, customer payments and even expand her work with foreign clients on the move. She thanked me for simplifying the complicated process of invoicing for her and I thanked my netbook and Zoho!
